Your design has EMC problems.
Find out which ones before the lab does.

The EMC Risk Review is 5 structured sessions with Dario, free for qualified hardware teams. Across these sessions we go through your product, your design approach, and your certification path — and tell you where the risks are and what each one will cost if you walk into the test lab with it unresolved.

What this is

We review your product before you commit to a certification path.

You get a full picture of your EMC risk exposure before either side commits to anything. We find out if we can help. You find out if the sessions are worth your time.

We go through your product architecture, your design decisions, your team structure, and your certification timeline. We tell you what the risks are and what each one will cost if it stays unresolved. We do not tell you how to fix them. Fixing them is the paid work. What you get is a complete picture of where you stand — which most teams only get at the lab, after the damage is done.

The 5 sessions

Each session covers one part of the picture. Session 5 puts it all together.

Sessions run in sequence. 45 minutes each.

01
Your product and certification target
You walk us through the product — what it does, what it connects to, what standard you're targeting, where you are in the design cycle, and what your deadline looks like. No files yet. We're building the context that everything else depends on. Most teams start this conversation overconfident about their timeline. By the end you'll know where you actually stand.
02
Design risk assessment
We look at the files. We go through the design approach — stack, architecture, interface strategy, power topology — and identify where the risk categories are. Not at trace level. At the level of decisions that will determine whether you pass or fail. You'll know which parts of your design are at risk and roughly what each problem costs if it reaches the lab unresolved.
03
Certification roadmap
We map the path to certification for your specific product. What pre-compliance work needs to happen, in what order, and what the cost of skipping any step looks like. Most teams find out this sequence at the lab, when changing it is expensive. Most teams don't know what pre-compliance actually costs or how long it takes. You will.
04
Team and process review
We look at whether your team is set up to execute first-pass certification. Who owns EMC decisions, what happens when there's a conflict between compliance and schedule, and whether the structure holds across more than one product cycle. You'll know where your process holds and where it doesn't.
05
Full assessment
Everything from the four previous sessions consolidated. Total risk exposure, ranked by severity and cost. If we can help, we'll tell you what that looks like. If we can't, we'll tell you that too.
Qualification

Two teams per month. We read every application.

Two teams per month is a hard limit. We take on projects where the findings will actually matter.

You'll qualify if
  • You have a hardware product with a specific certification target — CE, FCC, MIL-STD, or equivalent
  • There is a real deadline — a launch date, customer delivery, or certification submission
  • The person who can act on the findings is involved or available
  • Budget for EMC support is being considered or has already been allocated
You won't qualify if
  • There is no defined certification standard on your project
  • The design is frozen and the team can't act on findings
  • There is no real deadline
  • Budget for EMC support has not been considered and won't be
  • You're an individual engineer looking for training — our courses are the right fit

If you don't qualify you'll get a direct explanation and a relevant resource recommendation.

After session 5

If it makes sense to go further, there are two options.

By the end of session 5 we both have enough context to know whether a paid engagement makes sense, and if so, which one fits. Here's what each one is.

Ongoing engagement
EMC Architect System
€30,000 / month + VAT
We work with your team directly — ongoing design reviews at every stage, EMC architecture built into your development process, structured training so your team owns it going forward. No long-term lock-in after the first month.
Right fit if: you want to stop needing a consultant at the end of every product cycle and build the internal capability instead.
