Dario Fresu is a fourth-generation electrical professional, electronic engineer, and IPC Certified Interconnect Designer. He served as a technical expert and lead hardware engineer at ETH Zurich, working on high-profile research projects. Today, Dario provides EMC consulting and training for industry-leading companies, helping hardware teams control electromagnetic interference, pass compliance tests faster, and reduce costly board redesigns.

His clients include Boeing subsidiaries and leading European research institutions, with consulting engagements ranging from design audits to embedded advisory roles as Principal EMC Architect. Beyond consulting, Dario has built one of the largest independent EMC education platforms in the industry. He authored the EMI Control Guides series and technical articles for Altium®, hosts the EMI Control Podcast, and has trained thousands of engineers worldwide through his courses and community.

His teaching is rooted in the same real-world design philosophy he applies with clients — symmetric stackups, proper return path management, and treating EMI control as a design discipline, not an afterthought.
